The Denver Public School's "Choice" process allows students to apply to a Denver Public School that is not the neighborhood school. When accepted, you must provide your own transportation. Denver¿s East High School, a 10-minute drive north on University Blvd., is another excellent school with a national reputation among college recruiters that offers accelerated classes and honors classes. George Washington High School, a 15-minute drive, offers an International Baccalaureate program.
