East offers accelerated classes and honors classes and has a national reputation among college recruiters.

The Denver Public School's "Choice" process allows students to apply to a Denver Public School that is not the neighborhood school. When accepted, you must provide your own transportation. George Washington High School, a 10- to 15-minute drive, offers an International Baccalaureate program.
